Ace TrainerXReader! The Ferris Wheel Fear!

It was a long hot summer day.

You were on your live-changing Pokémon journey which you had always dreamed of starting since you were a little kid, and it was amazing being on this journey! I mean you got to meet amazing people and Pokémon, got to travel the world, and be the very best that no one ever was! But there were a few downfalls on being on this journey.

One being it was hot as a Charizard's flamethrower outside and you had just gotten off of the dreaded route four, the desert area.

That area was absolutely dreadful! It was insanely hot like I stated many times before, there was constant sand in your eyes, and you couldn't even run because every time you tried a group of Sandile attacked you out of nowhere!

But it was all worth it because of where you were now!

You were now in the beautiful Nimbasa City! The most beautiful and exciting city in the whole Unova region in your opinion.

You could enter the Pokémon musical; battle Elisa the model gym leader, go watch a sports game, and so much more!

You were debating with yourself on what to do first when you saw a cute little girl with blond pig tails pinch her nose and squeeze her eyes shut as she walked past you. From all the sweating you guessed your dioterent failed on you.

So you went to the Pokémon center, dropped off your tired Pokémon, and then went into the bathroom to change your shirt.

Then you came back out, grabbed your Pokémon and went outside to marvel at the city's pretty lights once again.

"It's amazing this city isn't as crowded as Castelia City!" you thought to yourself.

Then a gigantic sign that said "Free Ferris Wheel Rides" caught your eye. It was standing right in front of the amusement part with the Pokémon gym in it which was normally really expensive you enter.

"YES!" You shouted out of nowhere making a bunch of average citizens turn their head and sigh.

You ran past the sign, and straight to the Ferris wheel only to be disappointed. The Ferris wheel was strictly two people to a ride, no one person rides, which sucked because you didn't have someone to ride with and only a pedophile would be willing to go on a ride with a girl like you. Everyone waiting in line had common sense and knew that it was two people.

You were about to walk away in a depressed fashion when someone poked your shoulder.

When you turned around you a saw a teenage girl with bright blue pig tails and the same colored eyes, probably an ace trainer.

"Do you mind going on the ride with my twin brother? He has no one to ride with and says it's embarrassing to go on with his sister." She says in a very cute voice.

You didn't know what to say an a few "Umms" made it out of your mouth.

Then she got down on two knees and say like she was about to cry "Please! He is scared of the Ferris wheel and needs to be an ace trainer for once in his life and actually conquer his fear!"

To that request you couldn't say no, so you nodded your head and she totally changed personality. "Okay thanks he's right over there! His names Austin so just ask him to go on the Ferris wheel with you okay!" She said and winked.

So with that you strolled on over to this boy with the same color hair and eyes as his sister, but a bit taller and kind of cool looking.

You played the same card as his sister did and he turned his body and said "Ah. H-hi."

"Hi I don't have anyone to go on the Ferris wheel with so I wanted to know if you would go on with me" you asked and smiled.

"You're calling me out to ride the Ferris wheel? So many cute girls have been asking me that again and again!" she shouted!

You then face palmed because you got in mind what his sister was planning for her poor brother.

"You see how I'm acting like it's the simplest thing for me to conquer my fear?" he mumbled to himself.

He then extended his hand to you and said "You can help me out, we'll battle."

"Huh?" You replied confused.

He shot you a look like you were and idiot and then slyly said "You win, and I'll ride the Ferris wheel with you, I don't want to ride with someone who isn't strong and each girl who has asked me has lost so good luck"

You then smirked and took out your pokeball; this is going to be fun.

"Do you believe in me?" he asked with that big smirk on his face.

"Sure" You replied and threw your pokeball doing your signature spin throw.

"I knew it! I knew you would bet on me! If I didn't try to conquer this fear, then I really would be stupid!" he said and threw his own pokeball in a cool fashion as well but you didn't notice what he said because of the beautiful roar your Charizard made when it came out of its pokeball.

"Let's go" he shouted! A large Swoobat came from his pokeball.

"Okay Charizard use heat wave!" you shouted and pointed! Your wonderful Charizard did what you commanded and lifted his wings and sent a wave of heat towards Austin's Swoobat!

"Swoobat dodge it!" he panicked and screamed but it was too late, the poor Swoobat was smothered by the crimson heat wave.

"Okay Charizard now use flame thrower!" you commanded and of course he followed your command and got the Swoobat right in the nose.

Austin scrambled for a command but with the way things were going nothing could come out of his mouth!

"And for the finally use inferno!" you screamed on the top of your lungs! Charizard blew a great flame thrower and spun sending it straight around the Swoobat almost as if he was in a fire jail cell.

The Swoobat got scorched and fell straight to the ground with X's over his eyes. This battle was over.

"…What?" he said in disbelief. You didn't know what came over you during battles but people said you were like a force that couldn't be stopped. With your trusty Pokémon by your side nothing could make you lose a battle!

"Thanks Charizard!" You said and patted his back, and then he returned to his pokeball.

"My sincerest thanks for calling me out. I'd be a fool to hang on to this fear." He said solemnly and handed you some winning money. "When you said you believed in me, I believed in myself and in my ability to become a truly fearless Ace Trainer! It's all up to me…watch it happen!" he declared.

You two then entered a Ferris wheel cart. He sat down on the left bench and you on the right.

When the Ferris wheel started to move you swore you head a squeak. "What was that?" you asked.

"Oh nothing probably the cart!" he asserted.

"If you say so" You shrugged. Then you had a feeling this was a good time to ask so you did "Hey so you know your sister is asking random people she finds to go on the Ferris wheel with you?"

He looked at you in shock and said "THAT'S why so many cute girls have been asking me to go on the Ferris wheel?!"

"Yeah I was just walking around the part and she asked me out of nowhere" you replied and laughed at the fact he didn't know.

"Gosh my sister is annoying!" he shouted and clenched his fist.

"Well she's probably just trying to make you face your fear" you giggled again.

"Yeah I guess but still I thought I was popular" he pouted and crossed his arms. Then he looked out the window and his face dropped.

"Uh-oh. It's higher than I thought. Gulp. It's swaying more than I expected." He said in panic.

"Don't worry if it was unsafe then they wouldn't be able to put us on it" you said then stood up.

"Oh! Don't Move! We'll fall!" he shouted then grabbed on to your arm and pushed you to the ground making the cart sway a lot more than it should.

He had you in a pinned position and you were a bit scared but from the scared look on your face you guessed you had nothing to be scared of…actually looking at his face up close he was actually quite good looking.

"Do…not…move" he said quietly and slowly then put his palm on your cheek.

"You know you're a lot cuter then most of the girls she sends to help me, and I've never made it on to the Ferris wheel with one of them before." He said in a different voice then he has been talking in before, not cocky or scared, but passionate.

He was about to bend down to what looked like it was going to be a kiss when the cart came to a rough stop at the top of the Ferris wheel making it sway back and forth very hard, and making him come off of you.

"Eep…I can't take it! This is my limit! W-w-will you hold my hand?" he said as his childish face came back.

"Sure" you replied and smiled grabbing his hand and sitting back down on the bench.

You two stayed like this until the ride was over, which wasn't long enough for you to enjoy the moment but kept the poor ace trainer alive.

"What are you grinning for?" he asked as he looked at your face. "Am I imagining it, or are you laughing at me?" he pouted. Which was true you were laughing at him a bit.

"Nice. Nice… well, thanks for everything I am absolutely sure I conquered my fear because I'm an ace trainer! And because of your help" he said that slowly went into a murmur.

His sister then popped behind his back and said in her adorable voice "Oh so you can go on the Ferris wheel any time any place now?"

"Tch…maybe I will need this girls help a bit more" he bit the bottom of his lip.

"Thought so" she said and winked.

You couldn't help yourself but laugh more and more as this conversation went on. Then sadly you remembered it was probably best to heal your Charizard at the Pokémon center since it had just battled.

"Well I'd love to stay but I have a Charizard to heal" you told them in the middle of their conversation.

"Oh…well can I have your number before you leave? I'm going to need your help again!" he asked sadly.

"Yeah sure just give me your phone already ready for me to put my number in" you said happily with a smile on your face.

"Okay" he clicked a few buttons and then handed you his phone.

Then you noticed that you hadn't told him or his sister your name, and in the place where you put your name there were the words "Girl…friend".
